Hard to forget

You wake up and looking in the mirror is the hardest thing to do
Cause every time you take a glace you hoping it isn't you
Will he leave if he fined out the things that you use to-do
Or wipe the slate clean reviling the new you
But if she only knew the thing that he use to-do
And to ask her bout the past would give her a chance to
Tired of lies but the truth is something they can't do
So they sit soaking in blissful ignorance
Smiles and grins hide what lies with in
Cautious bout everything trying to guard them from everything
Curtain friends but become curtain people you can't see
Because they lips loose and telling bout what you use to be
Bound by the past wishing they could break free
He still wears his chains but not a slave to them
And she might have a drink but not a victim to them
The material let go but the broken hearts heal slow
And the boys ask about the chick that they use to know
Cause they offer her a drink and the first things she say is no
The boys ain't friendly now she thinking it's time to go
Its funny how the misguided found away to each other
Waiting on the chance to be honest with one another
